အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္ အေမ့ရင္ခြင္ထဲမွာ ကာလရွည္ၾကာ မေနနိုင္ခဲ့တာဟာ ေပ်ာ္ရွြင္စရာမေကာင္းလို႔မဟုတ္ပါဘူး
ျမတ္ဗုဒၶ၏ သာဝကတစ္ပါးျဖစ္ခ်င္တဲ့ ရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္ေျကာင့္ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I  your son could  not lived on your lap any longer
not because I was not happy with you
but because of my ambition to be a disciple of the Buddha.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္ အေမ့လက္ရာ ( ထမင္းဟင္းလ်ာ ) ေတြကို
အားရပါးရ မစားသံုးနိုင္ခဲ့တာဟာ မႏွစ္သက္လို႔မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။
ဓမၼရသကို သံုးေဆာင္ခံစားဖို ့ လံႈ ႔ေဆာ္ခံခဲ့ရတာေျကာင့္ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I your son didn't enjoy your cooking heartily
not because I didn't like it
but because the Dhamma inspired me to taste its delicacy.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္ အေမ့ကိုပစ္ျပီး သာသနာ့ေဘာင္ဝင္ခဲ့တာဟာ
အေမ့ေမတၱာရိပ္ကို မခိုလံႈခ်င္ေတာ့လို႔မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။
ဘုရား တရား သံဃာ ရတနာသံုးပါးရဲ ႔ အရိပ္အာဝါသေအာက္မွာ
ခိုလံႈခ်င္လို ့ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I your son left you and entered into the Buddha Sasana
not because I didn't want to shelter under your maternal love
but because I wanted to take refuse in Three Gems,
the Buddha, the dharma and the sangha.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္ အေမ့အိမ္ငယ္ေလးက ေျပးထြက္ခဲ့တာဟာ
ေကာင္းမြန္ခံ့ညားက်ယ္ဝန္လွတဲ့ ေရႊေက်ာင္းေတာ္ၾကီးထဲမွာ
ဇိမ္က်က်  ေနထိုင္ခ်င္လို႔မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။
သာသနာ့တာဝန္ေတြကို ပုခံုးလႊဲေျပာင္း ထမ္းေဆာင္ခ်င္လို ့ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I your son ran away from your small house
not because I wanted to live in a nice grand large
golden monastery building luxuriously
but because I wanted to take responsibility
of religious affaires on my shoulder.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္ အေမ့ရြာငယ္ေလးကို ခြဲခြာျပီး ျမိဳ့တက္ခဲ့တာဟာ
ကိန္းခန္းၾကီးတဲ့ လူခ်မ္းသာေတြၾကားမွာ
ဟိတ္ၾကီးဟန္ၾကီးနဲ ့ ေနလိုတဲ့အတြက္မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။
ဗုဒၶေဟာၾကားျမတ္တရားေတြကို ေလ့လာသင္ယူလိုတဲ့ ဆႏၵေၾကာင့္ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I your son  went to the town leaving your small village
not because I wished to stay on ceremony among the lordly rich people
but because I desired to study the Dhamma which taught by the Buddha.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
အေမ့ရဲ ႔ဘဝအေျခေနေတြ ခက္ခဲနိမ့္က်ေနတယ္ဆိုတာ သားေမာင္သိပါတယ္။
အေမကို ျပဳစုလုပ္ေၾကြးဖို ့ အနီးနာမွာ မေနနိုင္တာဟာ
အေမ့ေက်းဇူးေတြကို မေပးဆပ္ခ်င္လို႔မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။
သာသနာထဲမွာေနျပီး ပါရမီေတြကို ျဖည့္ဆည္းပူးခ်င္လို႔ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I your son know your standard of living is very hard and low
but I cannot live  together with you to care for
not because I don't want to pay back your gratitude
but because I want to fulfill perfections living in Sasana.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
အေမ့ရဲ ႔ေဝယ်ာဝစၥေတြကို ေဆာင္ရြက္ေပးရမယ္ဆိုတာသိေပမဲ့
မလုပ္ေပးနိုင္တာဟာ သားတစ္ေယာက္ရဲ့တာဝန္ဝတၱရားကို မထမ္းခ်င္လို႔မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။
ျမတ္ဗုဒၶသာသနာေတာ္ၾကီး ထြန္းကားျပန္႔ပြါးေအာင္ 
တာဝန္ယူထမ္းေဆာင္ေနတာေၾကာင့္ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I your son realize that I am duty-bound to do your chores
but I cannot do that not because I didn't to do the duty of a son
but because I take duty to make promotion and progress of Buddha's Sasana.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္  အေမနွင့္မိသားစုေတြ ေဆြမ်ိဳးညာတကာေတြ ဒကာဒကာမေတြ မိတ္ေဆြအေပါင္းသင္းေတြကို ထားခဲ့ျပီး
အမိနိုင္ငံျပင္ပကို ထြက္ခြါလာတာဟာ
လူမ်ိဳးမတူ ဘာသာစကားမတူ ယဥ္ေက်းမႈမတူ ဘာသာမတူသူေတြနဲ ့
ေပ်ွာ္ေပ်ွာ္ပါးပါး ေနထိုင္ခ်င္လို ့ မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။
သားေမာင္ရဲ ႔ ပညာေရးေလ့လာမႈကို ဆက္လက္လုပ္ေဆာင္ခ်င္လို႔ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I your son departed for foreign from your country
leaving all members of your family,  relatives,  donors, friends,
and stay among different citizen, different language, different civilization
and different religion not because I am happy with them
but because to carry on with my learning.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္ကို ယိုင္နဲ ့ျပီး မိုးယိုေနတဲ့ တဲငယ္ေလးထဲက
မႈံျပျပ ဖေရာင္းတိုင္မီးေရာင္ေအာက္မွာ ေမြးခဲ့တာ၊
ဖ်ားၾကမ္းေပၚမွာ သိပ္ခဲ့တာ၊ ျခည္ထည္အဝတ္စားေတြဝတ္ခဲ့ရတာ၊
ကန္ေရကိုေသာက္ပီး ငါးပိဖုတ္ပဲျပဳပ္စားခဲ့တာ၊ လယ္ကြင္းျပင္မွာ ကစားခဲ့တာ အဲဒီ ငယ္စဥ္တုန္းက ဘဝအေျခေနေတြကို ဘယ္ေတာ့မွ မေမ့ပါဘူး၊

Don't cry mother.
I your son never forget my young life condition;
I was born in the blurred light of candle in a small weak hut
in which the rain was leaking, slept on rough mat, wore cotton dresses,
drunk the water in the pond and enjoyed baked fish paste
and boiled bean and played in the fields.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္ ေသာက္စို ့ခဲ့တဲ့ အေမ့နို႔ရည္၊ အေမခြံ႔ေကၽြးခဲ့တဲ့ အစားအစာ၊ အေမႏွင့္ အတူအိပ္ခဲ့တဲ့ အိပ္ရာေလးေတြကို တမ္းတမ္းတတ ရွိေနပါတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I your son am longing for your breast
which I sucked, the food which you fed
and your bed at which I slept beside you.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ႔
ေခါင္းေပၚမွာ ေစ်းေတာင္းနဲ႔ ႐ြာတကာေရာက္တဲ့ အေမ့ပံုရိပ္ကို အၿမဲသတိရသလို အေမ သူမ်ားဆီက ေငြေခ်းငွားပီး လွဴခဲ့တဲ့
သားေမာင္ရဲ  ့ပညာသင္စရိတ္စကေတြကိုလည္း ဘယ္ေတာ့မွ မေမ့ပါဘူး။

Don't cry mother.
I always recall your image with vegetable basket on the head
in nearby villages and I never forget my learning expense
that you borrowed  from others and offered me.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္ရဲ ႔ ဘဝကို ပညာမတတ္ရွာတဲ့
သနားစရာ ကေလးငယ္ေလးေတြရဲ ႔ ဘဝကို ျမွင့္တင္ေပးေရးမွာ ျမဳပ္ႏွံထားပါတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I your son have given myself over
to improve the poor children from uneducated condition.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္ရဲ ႔ ဘဝကို ျမတ္ဗုဒၶ၏ေနာက္လိုက္သာဝကမ်ား
ေသာက ပရိေဒဝ ဒုကၡေတြကေနလြတ္ေျမာက္ရန္ 
တရားဓမၼျဖန္႔ေဝေဟာၾကားျခင္းအလုပ္မွာ ျမဳပ္ႏွံထားပါးတယ္။

Don't cry mother.
I your son am dedicating my life delivering the Buddha's teaching
to the disciples to liberate them from sorrow,
grief, torment and suffering.

အေမရယ္ မငိုပါနဲ ့
သားေမာင္ျပဳသမ်ွကုသိုလ္ေတြကို အေမ အညီအမ်ွရေစဖို ့ ေဝငွေပးလိုက္ပါတယ္။
သားျပဳသမ်ွေကာင္းမႈေတြကို အေမကိုယ္တိုင္ျပဳသကဲ့သို ့လက္ခံယံုၾကည္ကာ ေက်းဇူးျပဳျပီး ေက်နပ္ပါေတာ့။

Don't cry mother.
I your son equally share you all merits which are done by me so, mother, would you please be satisfied
by assuming whatever good deed I do is you do alike.

အေမ က်န္းမာခ်မ္းသာျပီး ႏွလံုးစိတ္ဝမ္း ေအးခ်မ္းေစဖို ့
အေဝးေရာက္သား ဆုေတာင္းေပးလိုက္ပါတယ္။

Your son who stays away from pray for you to be healthy, wealthy and peaceful and calm in mind.
